The GenXtras Community grew out of John’s loyal supporters who enjoyed watching his nostalgic entertainment videos on the TikTok channel: “GenXJohnny”. Soon several faithful viewers began meeting together every weeknight for “Family Friendly Game Night” playing versions of ‘Name That Tune’, ‘Family Feud’, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’, ‘Jeopardy’ and more.

Whether they were from Generation X, Z, Millennials or Boomers, John coined a new term for his family of followers: The GenXtras!

Now GenXJohnny has expanded to include not only vintage entertainment themed posts, but videos on relatable issues that affect all of us. His humorous style of informing the public and having fun during the process is both unique and refreshing.

Community Guidelines

Please respect the following GenXtra’s guidelines for everyones benefit:

• Aretha said it best “All I’m askin’ is for a little respect”. Keep all conversation respectful.
• Don’t blow up other members’ feeds. If someone isn’t responding to you like Elsa would say: “Let it go!”
• No personal attacks, or hateful language will be tolerated, and do not post any links in the comments.
• Trolling/spamming behavior will get you booted faster than “The Boot Scootin’ Boogie”!
• As Captain Picard would say: “Engage”, lighten up, and have some fun!
